Hello~awesome App~the speed in this version is faster~

but i have a problem~such as~ip of my computer is 192.168.1.103,wireless ip is 192.168.0.1~in 0.2 version,i input 192.168.1.103,it works well~but in this version~it auto-configurates and can't connect to my AP(because it connect the IP 192.168.0.1)~i could only use the B mode(input the key)to run your App~

so could you add the mode that who can input the IP himself?

so you have 2 network interfaces and it's using the wrong one? I see.. I'll probably release a v3.1 that lets you input the IP address manually then. In a few days!

Hi, no there is no difference in the way DSHobro works if you are in A or B mode. It's just the way you connect.

I cant connect with this version. I tried A and B. I really like that you added the B. BUT it doesnt work. It worked with 0.2 but not 0.3. It always trys to connect a random ip that is not my PC. The B also doesnt work. It connects to an ip that is not mine ethir. Will you implement putting in the ip in bot A and B options

Just wanted say great job on this app.  It is wicked fast compared to the opera browser and it shows images in a much higher quality.  Comic strips in opera were of such low quality that they couldn't even be read.  I think that the one feature that would make this much more usable is a bookmarks section, and maybe also a dedicated button for the :erase function.

Sorry for the double post but i need som ehelp. I suck at porting.  i found where to port my router BUT. i need to choose a setting, UDP or TCP which one do i choose. They are other options to choose so can you just tell me what to choose

J'ai bien exécuté Server.exe et mis les paramètres par défaut. Avec le mode A, l'appli me dit "Connection Wifi failed".
J'ai loupé quelque chose ?

Just wanted to report a little bug i ran into.

If you press shift so you get capital letters and then press it again to get small, if you write something it change back into capital letters like you had pressed capslock. Nothing serious but I thought you might want to know ^^

How come 100 pop-ups shows up whenever i run dshobro.3? and the only way to exit them is to exit the server:-[ does this give out viruses? Also putting comments on this site is really HARD! you have to reload the page many times to finally write a comment... the worst part about this version is that it gives way more errors then it gave on version 2 and you cant erase what you write o.O Well.. The good thing is that you can finally write comments now YAY!!!! ;D

u can setup some dshorbo webservers in a few windows dedicated-server

so we dont need to use our pc :P

I think you are doing one of the best applications for NDS. The last version is awesome. One thing that I would change for next version is the size of the keyboard, I think it's too small and sometimes it's difficult to type, please consider this and thanks for all your work

La connexion en wifi semble se faire correctement mais je reste bloqué sur autoconfiguration aussi bien en mode A que B.

La version 0.2 fonctionnait sans soucis jusque là donc je ne pense pas que ce soit un problème de port ou de conf du wifi.
Pour info j'utilise la version supercard.

Hi there! Great work! One question: is the traffic between the win server prog and the ds client encrypted in any way? You see - what keeps me from surfing via my DS is knowing that everyone can read my network traffic as WEP can be cracked so easily. Keep up the good work! ciao JD

Hi! I must say i love dshobro 0.2 but i wanna upgrade and i got a probblem....you see when i get to google it just freezes and i cant do anything. The upper screen is just white and i cant use my stylus to move the zoom around and i cant switch screens >:( i patched it with m3 and r4 dldi patches (yes i know it is already dldi patched but it didnt work so i thought i would try it) and it still doesnt work! any suggestions?

I know it says enter your passcode but i can't seem to type anything! I press the keyboard with the stylus and tried using D-pad but either way nothing comes up on the screen. What happened?

DS Lite Reported Wireless Fix

A user by the name of Daltonlaffs is reporting that he found a problem and fix with certain versions of the DS Lite firmware. Apparently, theres two versions, both which show magenta in the PictoChat trick, and one of them blocks homebrew access to wifi somehow. In order to get online, set your router to channel 10 and then reconfigure with an official game.

anyone who want to know how to make this go faster on a desktop not just a laptop should know that it is not the laptop making it go faster its because its connected through the wireless if you use the wireless it by passes the router by creating a havok envroment (not sure if its called that bettween a ds and a computer) so the ds is really just connecting to the computer directly if you want it to go fast have a wireless adapter,

     Is there any way you could implament a "start when windows starts" checkbox in the server app. The reason I ask is that if it starts always then you can browse your ds whenever without worrying if it is running. (Because it will always be running as long as computer is on) Also if you could save your settings port, image quality, remote etc. so that you wont have to change anything. That will be a life saver because we wont have to touch anything anymore. Just make sure computer is on. Thanks

You get what im saying like the program doesnt have anything to save the tweaked settings. It would be great if it could save my settings so I would not have to re tweak everything. Also the code for option B, can you make it so that we put our own code and it doesnt change. Also an auto start option would be nice.

DSHobro v 0.2 worked great for me but DSHobro v 0.3 is freezing when authenticating. My DS makes a strange sound and my screen brightness automatically goes up. Does this have to do because I'm using a Slot-1 (Supercard DS ONE) device to run the homebrew?

Don't work with nintendo wifi connector and it is too difficult configure it with asus driver instead original. Can you make something? Please..

connecting, it retries 3 times and says connection refused. i had no problems with version 0.2. i read about version 3.1, that would help me alot aswell, so if you could do that i would be eternally grateful, even though 0.2 is pretty much a masterpiece in itself

Everytime i start server.exe, (downloaded from here) norton tells me that is has to block the trojan, hence i can't connect.

i have DSHobro 0.3 and i always get the messeage "Initialising Wifi..." I have tried option A and option B (with the key of the server). I have used the random port and ports that i have opened in my router, but anyway, I have the "Initialising Wifi..." message and nothing happens. I can play wifi games.

I can't seem to get this to work. Tried the LAN option and the WAN option, tried different portts.. (Ports all forwarded in router)... But I get connection refused or Impossible to connect on my ds.

Is DSHobro opensource? And in what language is it written? Maybe (I don't say I will or that I can) could make a linux server for dshobro?

I am trying out DSHobro 0.3, but i cant seem to get it to work.  When i choose option A as my connection, it connects to my wifi, but it keeps on retrying and never works.  When i try option B, i enter the message, it connects to my wifi, but than it tries to initialize the ip address and the port.  I dont know if it is my port or ip address that is wrong.  Please tell me how to set up the port, or how to make this work.

I started the server on my laptop and it works well until it shows my IP adress.  It keeps on saying "Connection Refused" after my IP address appears.  Help?

Please add manual IP address input, as in version 0.2. DSHobro 0.2 works fine with the specified IP address, but DSHobro 0.3  just tries to connect to some random IP address and never works.

 i downloaded the hobro 03 from this site and unzipped it and when i started the server.exe and clicked on start it says:

your connection is broken, or the zero-configuration server is down, please try again later.

@cloudsg2, I got the same error, except my comp freezes as well. I think the problem is a firewall blocking the program. And the general concensus is if someone could host a free server? It would be greatly appreciated! However, I must give praise to the author. Kudos on the hard work! Thank you for making a revolution in the homebrewing world.

Hi, great project, large pages still take a huge amount of time to load and if you try to load a page with the imag quality on high the ds practically crashes,  i also find that i cannot connect to my home network unless the connection signal is high. Other than that its working fine and i find it loads larger pages quicker than the operal browser.

AAAh I can get it working fine if i use it on my home network on the a thing but i can't do it remotely... My ds connects to wifi but won't connect to the server. I have forwarded the port, disabled firewall and everything and now i dont know what to try... Am i doing something wrong?????!??!?!? HEEELP!

Faudrait juste pouvoir configurer le wifi correctement, pour le moment je reste bloqué à "connexion wifi failed" mon routeur ne voit aucune tentative de connexion DHCP, je ne peux pas indiquer d'adresse fixe, de plus en version 3 mode B on ne peut pas indiquer l'ip du poste server donc ce mode n'a plus aucun intéret (si je me connecte depuis mac do avec le serveur lancé sur mon poste comment le soft peut il trouver le serveur ?). Bref beaucoup de question j'espère autant de réponses !

I've followed the http path and it leads to: http://dshobro.gbatemp.net/zerconf.php?ip=192.168.1.33&port=666 wich returns an SQL error.

This might help some people here. If you are having a problem getting the WIFI to connect, it may be that your DS WIFI has never been set up. An easy way to set up the DS WIFI is to run the Mario Kart game, and follow the easy instruction for WFC connection settings. If your router has WEP security just make sure you have that number written down before you start(it's a long long number). After the DS WIFI is set up and you start the DSHOBRO server.exe program on your computer, the A mode should work.

Now if anyone has some good ideas about how to get the B mode working it would be greatly appreciated. I am sure the problem is with my Router security settings that is perventing the B mode from working but not sure what to tweak. Thanks for the great application.
